Vitamin E deficiency diagnosis:
Vitamin E deficiency is diagnosed by measuring the content of alpha-tocopherol in the blood plasma. Usually a method called high-pressure liquid chromatography is used to do the test. If the blood plasma levels of alpha-tocopherol are below 5 mob/l vitamin E deficiency is diagnosed.
