Vitamin B12 deficiency causes, signs and symptoms:

Usually there are three different factors that may influence vitamin B12 deficiency. These include malabsorption, gastrointestinal causes and nutritional deficiency.

Mild vitamin B12 deficiency has no, or little symptoms and so they may be difficult to notice. Many people suffering from vitamin B12 deficiency thinks that such symptoms as having paler skin, poor memory, fatigue, having diarrhea or constipation, confusion, feeling weak and lightheaded are normal results of growing older. Prolonged vitamin B 12 deficiency may result in depression numbness or tingling in toes and fingers, as well as depression.
